OweMe can open your UPI app with the payee and amount pre-filled when it’s time to actually pay a settled balance — no manual entry, no typos.
Working out who owes what is only half the job — someone still has to actually send the money. That’s usually where things stall: open a separate UPI app, find the right person, type in the exact amount, hope you didn’t fat-finger a digit.
A one-tap handoff
If a friend has added their UPI ID to their profile, OweMe can build a payment request straight to it — payee, amount, and a short note, all pre-filled — and hand off to whichever UPI app is installed on your phone. You just confirm and enter your own PIN.
OweMe never touches your money
This is a convenience shortcut, not a payment processor. OweMe doesn’t see your bank details, hold your money, or process the transaction — it just saves you from typing the same details into GPay or PhonePe by hand.
Where it shows up
You’ll see a "Pay UPI" option on any settlement where you’re the one who owes money and the other person has a UPI ID saved. After paying, you still approve the settlement in-app, which is what actually marks the balance as cleared.
